A contemplative, interactive evening: a murmuration of starlings simulated bird by bird. Each one only follows its seven nearest neighbours, as field studies of real flocks have shown, and the whole sky seems to move as one body. The flock gathers at sunset, dances through the blue hour, then pours into the reeds to roost as night falls.
