La mémoire du sable
Le sable retient tout, le temps que le vent passe.
WebGPU & WGSL through vgpu · Web Audio · TypeScript · Vite · a physical sky, sun and moon
A contemplative, interactive day in the desert: a sharp-crested dune seen from its back, its ridge releasing a veil of blown sand in the low light. The day passes on its own, slowly through the golden hours: sunset, a moonlit night with stars, then dawn. Draw in the sand nearby and the wind slowly takes the trace back, footprints and all. The sky, the sun and the moon are computed physically each frame.
Drag on the sand near you to draw. Drag the sky, right-drag, hold Shift or use two fingers to look around, within a small angle. The time-of-day buttons travel to dawn, day, dusk or night; the slider under the clock sets the hour.
Keyboard: arrow keys look around, Home recenters, Space pauses the day. Escape restores the interface.
The wind is rising…
