Drag the chime to swing it. Hold still elsewhere to raise a gust.
風のことば
風には声がない。ものたちの声を借りるのだ。
A contemplative, interactive scene: six aluminium tubes, tuned to a D major pentatonic scale, hang from the low branch of an apple tree at the edge of a meadow. No note is written in advance. The wind pushes a wooden sail, the sail swings the clapper, and every note is a real collision computed by a physics engine, then synthesized from the tube's own vibration modes. A paper tanzaku with a verse hangs beside the chime, a stone lantern stands in the meadow and lights up as night falls, and gusts carry leaves and petals across the garden. Evening falls on its own, from late afternoon to a night of fireflies and crickets.
Drag the chime itself to pull it and let it swing into its own notes; tap a tube to ring it with your fingertip. Drag anywhere else to look around, scroll or pinch to come closer. Moving through the air near the chime stirs it; holding still away from it raises a gust.
Keyboard: arrow keys to turn, plus and minus to zoom, Home to recenter, Space for a gust. Escape restores the interface.
The evening is settling…
